Construction Administration Services
KMR Collaborative provides construction inspection, documentation, and construction management support for civil infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater systems, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, roadways, support structures, and related public works. Our services include plan review, submittal review and tracking, change order tracking, daily inspection records, photo documentation, quantity verification, project closeout support, and participation in preconstruction meetings, public meetings, and public information efforts. This experience allows us to support disciplined project execution, organized recordkeeping, and effective communication from preconstruction through dedication.
Site Support Services
We offer comprehensive site services including GIS and permit support. We provide drone services for air inspection, stockpile inventory surveys, and site mapping, utilizing licensed professional land surveyors (PLS) when required. Our goal is to help projects remain compliant, organized, and efficient—reducing risk while maintaining progress in the field.
Construction Materials Optimization
Construction Materials Optimization at KMR Collaborative focuses on the principle that construction materials should be selected and applied to fulfill their intended purpose—no more, no less. As active voting members of ACI and ASTM, we leverage our field-tested expertise in concrete optimization and product development to evaluate and select concrete, aggregates, and related systems. We develop practical carbon accounting methods and identify opportunities to lower emissions by making informed material choices and conducting thorough specification reviews.. KMR Collaborative provides independent materials and geotechnical failure analysis for concrete, aggregates, and earthworks. Our work focuses on identifying root causes of performance issues—from construction defects and material incompatibility to environmental or design-related factors. We apply field investigation, laboratory testing, and standards-based evaluation to develop clear, defensible findings. As subject matter experts, we assist clients, agencies, and legal teams with technical reporting, dispute resolution, and expert testimony grounded in real-world construction experience.
Geomaterials Resource Characterization and Development
KMR Collaborative supports the full lifecycle of geomaterials site development—from exploration planning and materials characterization to quality assurance program design and market strategy. We specialize in concrete optimization and develop exploration and testing programs tailored to the specific geology and intended end use of each resource, ensuring both technical defensibility and commercial viability. Our in-house laboratory capabilities include XRF analysis, petrographic evaluations (ASTM C295 and C856), and bond milling index testing to support equipment selection. KMR has provided development and advisory services to some of the largest aggregate, pozzolan, and cement producers in the western United States to help transform raw deposits into successful, market-ready operations.
